These books will provide a sense of inclusion all while enhancing the library's collection. My students are constantly searching for books they can relate to, so I have chosen these books with them in mind. While trying to encourage independence in their reading journeys, I believe these will be a great addition to our library. LEGOs and Perler beads have been a great go-to activity that encourages creativity throughout play. I want my students to build, learn and have fun all in the same activity. I am trying to provide as many creative options as I can so my students understand that a library is a place of learning, not just a quiet place to read.

About my class
