By funding this project, the students will be able to grow social/emotionally as well as academically. At this point, they have to carry all their books back and forth from school, which makes for a heavy backpack. The cubes will give them an opportunity to leave the books they are not using at school. That will take a lot off of their minds as well. Using the Minds Up curriculum will allow the students to focus on being kind to themselves and others, then they can shift their focus to academics. The tangible rewards for appropriate behavior along with the Minds Up curriculum will enhance our program immensely.

About my class
