I want to showcase my student's art in a way that will never be forgotten. It's a special night all for them. Help me put on a spectacular art night for friends and family to experience and be moved by.
I love learning. So do my students! That is why I chose the theme, "Art from Around the World", for my students this year! Each grade chose a continent that their collection of art would be inspired by. Kindergarten to 5th grade enjoy learning about the world through art! I planned culture-rich projects that challenge thinking and feed creativity! Roaring African lions, expressive Japanese cherry blossoms, Australian Great Barrier Reef's swimming with life, embellished Peruvian llama's ready for festival, detailed Eiffel Tower's, and Lady Liberty portraits with a spin on them! These are some of the big masterpieces my little artists are eager to share on art night! So, what can you do to make this night special and aid students in making even more connections between art and the world?
I need help with supplies for each of the 6th booths that will be represented at art night--
Kindergarten: Africa
1st grade: Asia
2nd grade: Australia
3rd grade: South America
4th grade: Europe
5th grade: North America
The supplies needed are craft and snack items that connect to each continent-- a chance to try new foods and explore! For example, at the Africa booth students and can create an African thumb piano to take home! At the Asia booth guests can sample candies and snacks unique to Asian countries as well as make another craft! Students also need supplies to make event signs and posters with facts/visual aids about the countries they were inspired by. These will be proudly displayed alongside of their art!
