If we end up going to virtual learning again, I will use these books as read alouds. Otherwise, these students will have access to these books in the classroom when it's time for guided reading, read alouds, and individual reading.
By helping students have access to quality books, we open them up to unknown worlds through beautiful works of fiction, teach them about the world around them through nonfiction books about science and humanities, and encourage them to be good human beings through stories about empathy and compassion. By giving them this gift, we are shaping them and helping them grow into important members of society.
