These requested resources promote the Nevada Academic Content Standards for physical education for students in grades six through eight. Specifically they will help students demonstrate competency in movement patterns; apply knowledge of concepts, principles, and strategies related to movement; participate regularly in physical activity; and achieve and maintain a health enhancing level of physical fitness.
My students love to be active and work on their physical fitness! The kettlebell weights, Resistance Bands, Weight Resistance Training Sled and other equipment I'm asking for will help set up fitness stations for my students. I will be able to train my students on proper techniques and coach them as they use the equipment. My students will be able to log their progress and we will celebrate their progress. During COVID-19 distance learning they were limited to using the products they had at home for participation in physical fitness class. Many of them also developed more sedentary lifestyles as a result of the lockdown. They will be so excited to use these materials!
