I want the best for my students. My classroom is actually half of a classroom. A divider was put up, essentially halving the space while student enrollment increased. I have no windows and only one door. My room can comfortably accommodate twenty students but the majority of my classes are around twenty-five.
The focus of my classroom and life is to teach. A key to that is fresh air which currently, my students do not have. COVID has exacerbated this situation ten-fold in a way that now, more than ever, the need for clean air is paramount for my students' health and safety.
With our COVID guidelines. I cannot meander between the rows as much as I used to and am now resigned to sit in a chair that has given my back no rest. A quality air purifier will help everyone who comes into my room, and the chair will help me better focus on my kiddos.
