My students need to build essential skills to be future-ready lifelong learners. With a class set of iPads in the library and no way to charge multiple devices simultaneously, it can be difficult to ensure devices are ready for student use. The goal of this project is to enhance technology application across the campus by empowering student use of technology with lessons in the library. By donating to this project, you will help our students have devices that are ready for them to use when they enter the library. In addition, I will work to increase student ownership of their learning by implementing routines for iPad usage and empowering students and teachers to use our digital resources to enhance learning.
Having students learn technology tools and good online habits in the library allows teachers to focus on teaching content. Library technology lessons include how to navigate within Canvas, the district learning management system, Microsoft Office, and many other digital resources.
