My focus is to reduce the social-emotional stressors that interfere with students' education. These materials allow me to use my expertise to the fullest by using interventions that require additional materials besides talk, such as play therapy, experiential therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Many of these students have trauma history and in order to process some of this in session, we have to get creative about telling stories. Different approaches allow students to cope and heal. I know that these contributions will help many children for years to come. Thank you.
