Support Ms. Daniels (Monika)'s classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
The library is a space where students can be curious, explore, and exist without pressure. Hands-on, creative activities are especially popular.
Crafting boosts social-emotional skills, problem-solving skills, and self-esteem. When students craft together, they learn how to share materials and respect each other's work. Both open-ended and guided projects let students make their own creative choices and express themselves artistically. Making things by hand relieves stress, and learning new skills gives craft-makers feelings of accomplishment and pride.
With the art materials, students will learn:
1. stamp-making and print-making
2. duct tape crafts
3. weaving
4. patch-making and fabric art
5. origami and other paper crafts
