To be successful in the classroom, my students require a lot of hands on and stimulating materials that allow them to feed their sensory needs while being able to focus on the lesson. Sensory tools that help with the need for stimuli are included in this project, such as kinetic sand and liquid tiles. Some of the items in this project are designed for sensory stimuli to help calm their minds and bodies while working in the classroom. Due to their behavioral challenges, my students need tools that can help them keep calm. The other part of the project is for hands on learning. Giving my students tools that they can manipulate and use with their hands encourages their learning. Together, these materials will keep my students engaged and learning.
