I work in a Title I school, and most of my students aren't able to bring a snack, let alone a healthy snack. Being in a Title I school means that more than 70% of our students are on a free or reduced lunch program.
Research has shown that students are able to learn better when they're well-nourished and eating healthy meals and snacks have been linked to higher grades, better memory and alertness, and faster information processing.
Please help me provide a healthy snack to those who cannot bring one for themselves.
