Students in my class learn best when they are using fun, hands-on materials to learn. When they are actively involved in the activity the greatest amount of learning takes place. My students love to learn and the materials I selected will enhance their math skills as well as give them the opportunity to develop their oral language. These activities create an opportunity for students to not only create, but they give them the opportunity to interact with their creations. They might build homes, castles, cars, etc. There is no limit to the creativity these materials will help my students display.
