HHMS Band and Drumline students have been working extremely hard to master rhythmic concepts and return to playing instruments after the pandemic.
Boomwhackers will allow students to apply pitch to rhythmic concepts that they have been practicing and explore a whole new world of percussive instruments and activities.
Boomwhackers are a fun and engaging way for students to play together in an ensemble while still being responsible for their individual parts. Boomwhackers are also color coded which provides an easy way for differentiation and reaching students who may be struggling with reading music. Each student could play 1, 2, or even 3 boomwhackers depending on their skill level. A variety of sets and pitches will enhance the songs that we can play.
