The use of the fidget items will help my students focus in class during whole group and independent work time. I have students with many sensory and accommodation needs such as fidgeting, a space to focus, light filtering, headphones for text-to-speech or for music during independent work, and items to safely chew on. The use of the math manipulatives will help my students see and explore the visual representation of the math concepts they are learning in 5th grade. The candies will be used a motivator for my students while they are learning. The books will add literacy to their science and math classroom as well as inspiration to continue their science and math education.

About my class
