My students are hard workers, unfortunately they lack basic supplies at home such as a computer, notebooks, pencils, pens, and erasers. The tablets will be used inside and outside of the classroom to engage and expand my students’ knowledge. The water bottles and snacks will be used to nourish their stomachs throughout the course of the day. More than half of my students are hungry, which makes taking new information difficult. The provided materials will make a huge difference in the education and self esteem.
My students are fighters. They are fighting poverty, they are fighting to live, they are fighting socio-economic injustices, and most importantly they are fighting for a great education. By donating to our project, you are showing my students that tough times don’t last forever. You are giving them an opportunity to rise above their circumstances and create a better future for themselves and their families. Most of my students will be the first person in their families to graduate from school and have a career with your help!
