I am a music teacher that is running two extracurricular expression groups (Dance & Step team). Being that practice times run a little outside of school time they do not get a chance to eat. Many of our students depend on snacks for food, during the Afternoon Program. Unfortunately, due to the impact of Covid-19, a lot of our resources are limited. Many of our families are experiencing unemployment, facing evictions, and the loss of loved ones. Providing these basic resources will help our students to focus on learning. These snacks will help to relieve some of the stressors that are associated with the economic pressure that my students are currently facing.
