Kids can't learn when they are hungy. We currently have several familes in our district that rely on school meals for their children. However, when school isn't in session, there is an undue burden on them. This leads to added stress, anxiety, and other financial concerns in the home. This project will help us to sustain our current backpack program for several weeks. It will also provide kid-friendly meals and snacks for students that they are able to fix on weekends and school holidays when school meals are not available.

About my class
