As our school moves to a hybrid model, I will have half my students in-person and half attending virtually. Having a MacBook Pro enables me to interact with all my students. I currently have a Chromebook that only costs a few hundred dollars. I do many things with my computer, where I feel very limited with this device.
With a MacBook Pro, I can sync all my classroom music that I play for transitions, have the memory needed to save documents and files that I use one year after another, and have a reliable device to use for lessons I have created on PowerPoint or Google Slides. The options are limitless with a MacBook Pro. Even after all the students return to class, I know I will use this to teach throughout the day to enhance the students' learning experience.
