As a social studies teacher, I want to be able to bring some of the world's most beautiful and historic sites to my students. One of the ways that I do this is through VR, letting them feel what it's like to walk down the cobblestone streets of Rome while we learn about ancient empires, or be on the battlefield in Gettysburg as we study the Civil War. To make this possible, I have personally purchased a VR headset for classroom use, however my classroom projector has finally given out. Being able to purchase an interactive monitor for my classroom would mean having a permanent way for my students to see and interact with all the world has to offer.
