These scales and weights will be used to teach my students about the importance of measurement and conversions. Learning how to add different weights together and how to read a scale are very important for these young scientists. Having even just a few of these items in the classroom for these students to rotate through, will help them understand these concepts. Coming from a low income school, we do not have a lot of science equipment. Every little piece of equipment helps these students learn the basics of science! I want my students to fall in love with learning about science, just like I did!

About my class
