Schools have shifted away from classes that allow students to work with their hands, it is time to bring back hands-on learning. Therefore, I am creating a new course that will allow students to create art using alternative techniques and a variety of media. These projects will allow students to create in a 3D realm. I want to teach and show students that there is more to Art than drawing and painting. I want to give students the opportunity to create projects using a glass kiln to create a variety of unique projects that they normally would not be able to do. We will be creating projects using glass fusing and glass slumping and other techniques to create amazing and unique projects. This will give students the opportunity to use their creativity and understand that there are many avenues they can pursue in the Arts. The best part of this project is that your donation for this project will allow students over many years to benefit from the equipment purchased. Thank you so much for your kind donation and commitment to education.
