These materials will help my students become great readers and help prepare them for the next grade level. The Guided Reading Collection will help give my students confidence in being independent readers. These books will also help my students continue and foster a love for reading and expose them to rich literature. By having access to their own reading basket in class, students will be able to learn new vocabulary from the rich vocabulary in the books and help with their reading comprehension which is crucial in first grade. Students will also be able to improve on their fluency.

About my class
