Mornings are the introduction to the school day, but we know that it can be tough to shake a bad mood or a tough morning just because you walk into the building. This is even more true in the last two years. Even if you have the perfect morning, beginning the day with morning work you cannot complete starts the day off poorly. It feels like a failure.
Morning tubs will begin the day with joy, fun, and learning so students feel set up for success throughout the entire day. Through these activities, they will practice foundational skills like counting and spelling while also having opportunities to foster creativity with activities like dough molding or sculpting using wax sticks. All the while, they will build fine motor skills.
This project will give students a change to feel successful and happy the second the walk through the door to our classroom.
