Our students need the resources to hypothesize and experiment in order to develop critical thinking skills and deeper understanding of the world around them. The open-ended resources that I have listed will be used to helped students achieve those goals and more. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve student engagement, you will ultimately help to increase their ability to problem solve real world challenges. The Design Build Engineering Centers, STEM Science Stations, I Can Build It Architecture Set, I Can Build It Construction Planks, Snap Circuits(r) Jr., and Geostix would provide students with hands-on exploration. I would love to have a makerspace in my classroom filled with these sets that encourages students to think outside the box as they explore, take on challenges, create, and build their own creations. The Giant Sand Timers will help students practice time management using these visual timers while working in our makerspace. By providing all of these materials, you will be investing in the future.
