My students are creative, thoughtful and full of curiosity. They love to play with various manipulative such as blocks, cars, and educational games. However, our classroom is lacking some of the helpful tools to engage them in learning, playing cooperatively, and growing as individuals. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! Some of the resources include building blocks and manipulatives such as Magna-tiles and bristle blocks, dramatic play toys such as play people and food, and sensory toys for select students with sensory processing issues. Students will use and benefit from the resources requested because they provide opportunities for students to improve in areas such as fine motor skills, problem-solving, and imaginative play. This will help my students attain the resources needed to learn efficiently and grow both personally and academically.
