We use headphones to use with our pads. The pads give the students the ability to use many reading and math apps provided to us by our district. The books give the students opportunities to read books they do not always have access to given the demographics of our school. We use them for mini-lessons in writing to generate ideas for their writing. The students will read them to practice the phonics they have learned. The students learn to love reading because the author is engaging and funny.
