These materials will help the students with hands-on projects. Some of the projects will be completed in class but the materials may be used at home if the student needs more time. I will be teaching about space, rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, plants, habitats, and the careers that students may be interested in as their postsecondary goals.
These materials will help the special education students by providing more detailed instruction, more time to complete their own projects, and using technology and visual aids for visual and kinesthetic learners. I am excited to see the skills and level of understanding these materials will bring to the science class.
