This project will help primary aged students learn about the artistic masters and to study their work by reproducing some of their famous masterpieces seen in museums throughout the world.
My team and I use art as a way to lower anxiety from the first day of school. We begin by studying Monet, his gardens and lilypond in Giverny, France. The children go home excited to teach their parents about this famous artist, France, and are able to recognize Monet's work when seen on television, in books or at a store.
