I have seen the high need of differentiated seating within the classroom - especially with my fidgety, little youngsters. In our huge district (and with almost every district) much of our "extra" materials are paid for out of our own pockets as teachers.
These unique seating options will help students get their wiggles out in a safe manner that also allows them to participate, listen, and get the most out of their short time with me!
This will also be WONDERFUL in our Social-Emotional-Learning as we are talking often about noticing our body and what our bodies need. It is SO important to recognize what we need throughout the day - and often in kindergarten, that can be noticing that your body needs to move. If I can create an environment where that can happen alongside my students' learning, then I believe my students will thrive even more.
