These workbooks, self-care activities and resources will help our students on the path to a better overall well-being including social-emotional learning and self-growth. These resources will help our students learn to manage life challenges that often impact their mental health. Every activity has been carefully chosen according to the needs that have been assessed in the lives of our students and their families.
By donating to my project, you will help make a positive impact in our community that will extend to later generations of students struggling with the same mental health issues. You will allow room for growth and opportunity in the lives of our most vulnerable students.
These materials will allow us the opportunity to teach students about self-love, self-care, growth, empathy and compassion, empowerment, support and connection. It will allow me to create a safe space for students in crisis and students that need extra support on any given day. It will allow room for students to learn about how mental health impacts their daily functioning in the classroom, in the community, and at home. These materials will allow me to give resources to students that unfortunately do not have access to them at home. It will give students a chance to process feelings, thoughts and behaviors and utilize tools to improve their academic functioning and social-emotional learning. The goal is to help students learn that they are not alone and they can accomplish great things simply by taking better care of their mental health.
