The materials I am requesting for my students will help build their stamina and increase their activity level in the gym. Students that are engaged in being active and having fun are less disruptive in class. All students need an outlet to release, or exert their energy to help them focus in the classroom. Our PreK Center gym could use some new and exciting materials to help our students stay healthy and energized throughout the day. All the students will benefit by learning how to play together, take turns and share materials. They will be actively engaged from the moment they enter the gym.
These materials will have my students active, excited, energized, and engaged in exploring the many different activities they can do and have fun! I would love to turn the gym into an exciting room of adventure and fun. I could have at least four different areas to keep them engaged in fun, with the new equipment I would be able to set up the different areas for them to use their fine and gross motor skills, hand and eye coordination and play games where they could enhance their concentration. My students will have fun balancing on the beams, taking turns throwing the basketball into the hoops, going through the tunnels and just having fun running, playing and getting exercise. I want to be able to make their experience in the gym active, enjoyable and fun!
