I work with students with special needs. I'm always looking for ways to connect with my students. Working with this population of students requires you to think outside of the box. Everyone can learn but some learn differently. Getting my students out of their chairs and away from their computers will help to keep them engaged and interested.
Birding has the potential to ignite a passion that could become a life path. Birding with children certainly has its challenges, but the investment brings high returns for a child’s physical and mental health. Birding with kids adds social benefits, such as helping children form an identity and a community.
Having Binoculars is a great way to study nature in the backyard. Allowing students to connect with the natural world and the secrets that it shares. Im hoping to give my students the opportunity to take charge of their education as they strike out in search of answers to birding.
