My students struggle with finding books to read that are on their level. My students also do better with fun hands-on reading activities to help them learn. These new activities and books will enhance my class library and encourage my students to read. I have chosen books and activities that will benefit all the different grade levels that I teach. My students will be able to learn from the fun class activities, and then check out books to take home to practice reading. With these new books, my students will have a wide variety of both fiction and nonfiction books to choose from. I believe that letting my students choose their own books will help them be excited to read which will then increase their reading ability.
