My students love to read and are constantly excited to look through my personal library to find a new book to engage with. Every week they get excited when it is our library time. I want to create a library where students can escape reality and enjoy the book they are reading. Providing seating will allow students to enjoy their books in my library area instead of sitting on the floor or back at their desks. This project will encourage more peer-to-peer collaborations as the students can sit together around the coffee table to discuss books they are reading. The table can also serve as a reading group table for me to help guide each students' personal reading skills and level.
