By obtaining these manipulatives, the students will be able to explore the subjects of both mathematics and science. They love learning about science and math.
The students will be challenged to use these manipulatives to explore and plan how to use measurement, addition, subtraction, area, and dimensions to construct buildings, bridges, and other objects. They will then learn how to measure the height, width, and diameter of these objects to compare and contrast. The students will also explore and plan how they could make repairs to make their structure steady and sturdy. The students will be able to work in groups and independently.
