Our top-notch fourth graders are in need of small group necessities to ensure the optimal learning opportunities of which they are so deserving. These materials include flexible seating options and high-efficiency headphones.
Small group instruction comes in a wide variety of presentation formats in our classrooms. At times, students need to sit together close to the front of the room to be able to see and work on the Smart Board and would be more comfortable with a floor cushion. Other times, students meet with a teacher at a kidney table, and need to sit at a stool. When not meeting with a teacher, students often engage in blended learning programs that are addressing their individual needs, and will benefit from headphones to help them stay focused and to be able to listen to and engage in instruction clearly.
