Being a public school social worker allows me to work with students from all paths of life. The pandemic has put significant stressors on these students.
I am requesting a variety of snacks for my students. While providing services for their mental health, their physical health is equally important. Often, students come to my office asking for something to eat. Whether it's due to family financial struggles, feeling weak, or overall hunger, having snacks readily available will greatly impact their work in the classroom as well as assisting them with the physical and mental health aspects.
Thank you for your generosity!
