We will be studying and comparing the life cycles of chickens and ducks in our kindergarten classroom this spring! This hands-on science unit with inspire the young minds of my students as they will learn first-hand about the structure of eggs and how life develops inside the shells. This study of "oviparous" animals, including studying their growth, habits and anatomy is exciting and heartwarming. As the chicks and ducklings develop inside the incubator, we will be able to observe this using the candlers. The children will be able to witness them hatch with their own eyes and observe this miracle of life!

About my class
