During kindergarten, students learn and grow on different levels. Some of my learners are working their way to recognizing their letters and sounds while other students are working their way to 3-4 letter words!
The materials I have chosen will help me to modify reading center time to match all of the needs of my students! With this opportunity I will be able to work with my students while they are growing their knowledge independently in their groups with centers based around phonics. I will be able to work with my students using the Pop-Its for letter recognition. The Play-Doh will be used as a sensory center to build letters and sight words. They will be able to race each other with the winning fingers pop it board game to better their knowledge of letters before the time runs out!
My students have such a love for learning, with your help they will be able to continue to soar with fun and engaging activities!
