We have started reading Brave New World in congruence with our unit on dystopian societies but we do not have enough copies for every student to be able to take a book home. With the unreliability of in-person lessons, many students need a book to take home in case they are out sick so that they can stay up-to-date with assignments. It is also imperative to learning to be able to follow along while we read in class. They cannot participate in popcorn reading or silent reading without their own copy.
