Students have a lot on their minds and need a safe place to escape. Books are a great way for them to learn and improve their literacy skills while also giving them a chance to explore and imagine while reading new stories. I want reading to be exciting and fun for them, and not an added burden. Having new, interesting, and relevant books will help them to get excited about reading.
Our school's guided reading library has lots of great books, but many of them are outdated and need to be replaced. My class and school would be so grateful for your help!
