My students feel that a traditional classroom setting limits their spirit of creativity.
When I have my students to bring a blanket or pillow for special
days, such as "Camp Out for Literacy" or "Novel Reading Explorations" my students are calm, cool, and receptive to open conversations about whatever topic we are discussing.
As a teacher, I would like my students to have this type of flexibility every day. With this furniture I will have the ability to offer a flexible seating choice to my students. I am hoping with time, I can move out all of the traditional desk and continue to make my class a great learning environment.
