As a teacher I can use the iPad as a portable whiteboard. I can walk around the room and work with the students as we are discussing and solving problems instead of being tied to the board. Students can also demonstrate their understanding of a concept on the iPad as they explain it to the rest of the class.
I have a lot of students that are in and out of quarantine and this will allow me to record myself working on the math problems and send the recording to those students who aren't in class. The videos can also be used for students who are in class, but maybe struggling and it would be helpful for them to hear the explanation again.
We can also create class videos of what we are learning to be able to share with students not at the school or with students' families.
