As a new teacher, I have limited resources and not many books to help encourage my students to read. Having more options of book like graphic novels and class sets helps me show the students how much I enjoy reading. Also having books in my classroom helps me as the teacher see what my students are reading and help move them forward to new titles and ideas. Lastly, all good classrooms should have lots of books to peak the interest of the students and provide opportunities to talk about what we are reading or could be reading.

About my class
