COVID-19 had a great impact on everything, and we can have some hope due to Science advances in creating a vaccine to help us. More than ever we have to motivate students to be scientists, to believe through their efforts and hard work they can find out the cure to a disease, or help humanity. Researches show that half of the kids are able to decide which profession they want to follow, what if we bring more hands-on science to these kids, and maybe we will have future researches that will change the world! I ordered red led lights and iron soldering because we want to build a solar panel (a small one) the students could see with that hands-on activity that with small it can be possible to use renewable energy. I also asked for protection glasses for safety in this experiment and many others we do in class. With microscopes, students will be able to see closely structures we have been studying, and compare them with others.
