The many social emotional learning books will address so many aspects of children learning coping skills. Kids need confidence! When they are confident, they can learn! The challenges children are facing are real and need to be discussed in a comfortable setting. Science and math experiments and games make learning so much fun and fill learning gaps without kids realizing they are sharpening their skills. Finally, the illustrated dictionaries teach students the power of words and an extensive vocabulary will take them so far! All students, whether English language learners or not need strong reading and writing skills.
