Our reading intervention room needs a tier 3 reading program for students that do not meet Special Education requirements, but need a program designed to fill in the gaps from Covid, dyslexia, and other learner problems. We will be using the Sounds Sensible kit with our Kindergarten and First grade students. The decodable readers will be used with our 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders who also need intensive support. A well designed program like SPIRE will not only make a difference with this year's students, but with many more to come.
