My students do not always have access to many experiences. Providing opportunities such as science experiments that relate to their classes, math games, and fidgets will help make learning not only more engaging but much more fun and interactive.
We want to give our students many hands-on opportunities to increase engagement and memorable learning.
We will be doing frog and owl pellet dissections to dive deeper into the students' biology learning, and various experiments using beakers and graduated cylinders to connect to their different science classes. With any of these, we will need protective equipment such as goggles, gloves and sanitizing materials.
The math games will be used for our lower level students to provide more practice with their functional math skills.
