I have included in my projects two important groups of resources: the first is to promote STEAM projects; the second is to foster Portuguese language development. STEAM is essential to develop critical thinking, communication and problem solving skills. Students in my classroom can work in teams to create their projects or take resources home to supplement online learning and apply what they are learning in real-life contexts. Portuguese books are read aloud in class or checked out and taken home to help support language development. Some materials asked will be used in reading and writing projects. They are all very important to our DLI classroom.
