By having some webcam's in our classroom, students would be able to record themselves and their learning through oral and videos using webcameras. For example, we do a CTSO project where students compete against each other on different points of views on certain topics. Students are required to record their view point and turn it into Canvas. Our computers don't have a camera on them and therefore it is really hard for students to do this activity, so they will either slop through it or write out their viewpoint on a certain topic.
It is important for me as a teacher to provide many different avenues for students to be creative and find success in learning. It would also help some of my slow typers or for accommodation students to be able to show me through video what they learned and turn in assignments instead of typing it all up and doing things like everyone else does.
